Mysuru: The Indian women's team was on the threshold of victory against South Africa who, following on, were 83 for six, still 84 runs in arrears, at stumps on the third and penultimate day of the one-off Test, here Tuesday.

India, after making 400 for six declared in their first innings, dismissed the visitors for 233, despite a battling century by skipper Mignon du Perez (102, 253b, 15x4). In their second essay, the South Africans were reduced to 83 for six.
