West Indies captain Chris Gayle has bemoaned his side's poor batting, and the spate of injuries that has robbed him of several key players in the home series against South Africa, which ended on Tuesday.
The absence of Ramnaresh Sarwan, Jerome Taylor, Fidel Edwards, and Adrian Barath for some, if not all of the series, meant that West Indies fielded an under-strength side, and South Africa had things mostly all their way.
