IPL franchise Mumbai Indians will be celebrating the birthday of cricket legend and their icon player, Sachin Tendulkar, who turns 44, today. The right-handed batsman was born in Mumbai on April 24, 1973.
"Mumbai Indians would be celebrating <a href="Sachin's%20birthday" target="_blank">Sachin's birthday</a> at Wankhede on Monday, where the team will be taking on Rising Pune Supergiant in an IPL encounter," an MI source told PTI. Mumbai Indians, who have been on a roll after winning six games on the trot, will look to give a perfect gift to Tendulkar by clinching another win.
Meanwhile, the Legends Club has also organised an event to mark Tendulkar's birthday at the Cricket Club of India. Ex-Mumbai player Vasu Paranjape will speak at the function.
