The Indian Premier League 2021 season is just three days away and we all know what that means for the fans. For over a decade, IPL fans have shown their love and undying support for their respective IPL franchises. The IPL fans have stood by their teams through the ups and downs and not only celebrate their victories but also mourn their losses. Many IPL fan clubs keep the flow of entertainment and energy online going throughout the IPL season. As we near the 14th edition of the IPL, we take a look at what some of the biggest IPL fan clubs have to say.

Prabhu Damodharan, co-founder, WhistlePodu Army, official fan club of the Chennai Super Kings:
“No level of excitement can match the IPL when it’s just around the corner. The players donning the yellow jersey and being led by Thala Dhoni always raises the adrenaline. We didn’t have the best of seasons last year, but this time, CSK will rise and are up for it under the guidance of the most successful captain in the world. We have complete faith in Mahi and our confidence level has shot up after the recent additions to the CSK squad. My IPL 2021 Mantra for CSK is to take one game at a time, choose an 11 based on the opposition. We will continue to support our Men in Yellow and let’s rock this season, WhistlePodu!”

Ajay Thakur, co-founder, Orange Army, official fan club of Sunrisers Hyderabad
“The return of the IPL will bring joy to millions of fans across the country. Keeping in mind the current situation, it is unfortunate that SRH fans will not get to witness one of the biggest tournaments in the world, but we have to be conscious of the health crisis and enjoy the action from home. The squad for this season looks good, especially after the addition of Kedar Jadhav. Our IPL Mantra for this season is to extend full support to the Sunrisers by creating engaging content across all social media platforms and we will surely create a sea of Orange.”

Sai Krishna, co-founder Namma Team RCB, official fan club of Royal Challengers Bangalore
“Nothing beats the excitement of having an IPL on Indian soil. Knowing that the game is played a few away blocks away itself gives adrenaline to fans like us. It brings great joy to watch our team play with our family and cheer for the squad. With additions to the team in Glenn Maxwell and Kyle Jamieson, I am confident that RCB will have a great start this season. Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli opening the batting will be a dangerous pair for any opposition’s bowling attack. We are hoping for a great season. Our IPL Mantra is to play with a lot of aggression but in the spirit of the game."

Nitin Sachinist, Superfan, Mumbai Indians:
“In this cricket-loving country, IPL is like a festival. It brings families together, the lovely banter with our friends who support other franchises just brightens evenings for us. No doubt this year, Mumbai Indians have the strongest team on paper and with Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, we are certain that the Cup will be ours this year too. It is a great feeling to be on top in a format like IPL, but it is more difficult to stay on top and that would be our IPL Mantra for the season, to fight to be reigning champions. Let’s Go Mumbai!”

Yuvraj Nanda (Founder - Lions’ Den - Fan Club of Punjab Kings)
“IPL is back in India and the excitement is slowly but surely reaching fever pitch. With KL Rahul leading the team and several new additions, the side looks really good.  Our mean machine Chris Gayle looks in good touch and we are confident that we will have an impact this season. Our IPL Mantra for this season is to keep that bond going, growing and strengthen it even stronger. It may be a new Punjab side, but the same passions will always be there.”
