Following the victory in the IPL 2025 match against Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals' star opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal expressed his thoughts by saying that we are trying our best.
"It was pretty good. We were trying our best, and I really enjoyed it. There has been few injuries with the team, Sanju bhai came back after a few games and it was a good game for us, we will take the confidence going forward," said Jaiswal during the post-match presentation.

Speaking about his young batting partner, Vaibhva Suryavanshi, the 23-year-old said, "He played really well, he played amazingly today, we have seen how he has been playing throughout the tournament. (on the bowlers) They have bowled pretty well, we have a clear plan where we have to bowl. I was telling them, whatever plans you have, go with a clear head and do it".
In a run chase of 188 runs against Chennai, the RR opening duo, Jaiswal and Suryavanshi, delivered decent knocks. Jaiswal smashed 36 runs in 19 balls, including five boundaries and two maximums. On the other hand, the 14-year-old played a knock of 57 runs off 33 deliveries. He entertained the crowd by smashing four boundaries and the same number of maximums.
Coming to bat at number three, Sanju Samson accumulated 41 runs in 31 balls, which was laced with three boundaries and two sixes. Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer stayed unbeaten with scores of 31 and 12 runs, respectively.
RR came victorious by six wickets in the IPL 2025 against the MS Dhoni-led CSK at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. On the other hand, CSK is left with its last group stage match. They will lock horns against Gujarat Titans on May 25 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
In the IPL 2025, the five-time champions, Chennai, have been chasing the shadows of their previous version. So far, out of the 13 matches, they have only come victorious in three games.
