Rohit Sharma came to the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium almost 90 minutes before the team arrived for the pre-match nets on Sunday, but his inclusion in the Mumbai Indians playing XI will be decided only on the morning of the match against Gujarat Titans on Monday.

Rohit did some range-hitting against support staff and some net bowlers provided by the Gujarat Cricket Association and looked fit to get going. However, Paras Mhambrey, the MI bowling coach, told reporters that the T20 World Cup-winning India captain will be evaluated by the medical team and coach Mahela Jayawardene before a decision is taken about his inclusion in the side.
