Royal Challengers Bengaluru recovered from a tough start to put 201 runs on board at the halfway mark of the match. Captain Rajat Patidar was the star with the bat as he scored 63 runs in 40 balls to recover the RCB innings.

Phil Salt was dismissed for a first-ball duck by Jofra Archer, who was on the mark from the first ball. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal built a partnership together before Padikkal was dismissed for 14.

Virat Kohli was the star of RCB's batting in the powerplay as he scored 32 off just 16 balls. However, the Indian star was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi. Kohli's wicket started a free fall for RCB as they lost 5 wickets by the end of 10 overs.

Captain Rajat Patidar scored 63 runs in 40 balls to take RCB to 201 runs at the end of 20 overs. Romario Shepherd scored 22 runs in 11 balls to support him.

For RR, Archer was the star as he took 2/33 from his 3 overs. Bishnoi was back among wickets too as he took 2/32 in just 2 overs. Brijesh Sharma took 2/37 in his four overs.

Having won the toss, RR decided to bowl first.

"We're going to be bowling. It was supposed to be a dry wicket, but it has been raining for the last couple of days and it rained a bit today as well. So there's going to be a little moisture. We're trying to extract it, but it seems like a really good wicket. Feels great. I think we've been very clinical before the start of the tournament. My message to the team was that we want to be a really pure team that plays really strategic cricket, really smart cricket. So hopefully we keep on assessing and adapting as we have been in the first three games and hopefully come up with really good points." Riyan Parag said.

Playing XI for both teams:

Rajasthan Royals (Playing XI): Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel(w), Riyan Parag(c), Shimron Hetmyer, Donovan Ferreira, Ravindra Jadeja, Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, Sandeep Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi, Brijesh Sharma

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (Playing XI): Virat Kohli, Philip Salt, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar(c), Jitesh Sharma(w), Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Abhinandan Singh, Josh Hazlewood
