Chasing 196 runs to win, CSK started off strongly with Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring a couple of early boundaries. Sanju Samson failed to score big as he was dismissed for just 7 runs. Ayush Mhatre came in at number 3 and started in his typical attacking form.
