The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2027 mini-auction will take place in Goa on December 16, according to Cricinfo. The day-long bidding event is scheduled to coincide directly with the second One-Day International (ODI) between India and Sri Lanka in Bengaluru.
The event will occur nearly a month following the franchise retention deadline of November 15, which has been officially communicated to all ten teams. Once the retention submissions are finalised, the IPL governing body will share the complete registered player pool with franchises for shortlisting. The finalised bidding list and player sets are expected to be distributed to teams during the week leading up to the auction.
