Kolkata: It’s been a scorching summer in this neck of the woods with heat-stroke killing six persons recently, a couple of them being from the city. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, the finalists of Indian Premier League-8 are not about to hold the weather as an excuse tonight.
"The IPL is always played at this time of the year, so players should be ready to play in whatever conditions they have to. At the end of the day you are a professional cricketer, you have to come out and give your best," responded MI skipper Rohit Sharma at the pre-match media interaction on Saturday.
