Pune: Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper&nbsp;Virat Kohli has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining slow&nbsp;over rate during the team's Indian Premier League game against&nbsp;Rising Pune Supergiants.
Kohli and AB de Villiers smashed brisk half centuries to&nbsp;guide Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 13-run win over Rising&nbsp;Pune Supergiants here last night.

"Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been&nbsp;fined after the team maintained a slow over rate during last&nbsp;evening's VIVO IPL match against Rising Pune Supergiants in&nbsp;Pune.
"Since it was his first offence of the season under the&nbsp;IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences,&nbsp;Mr. Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh," the IPL said in a statement.
In the game last night, sent into bat, RCB rode on De&nbsp;Villiers' 83 off 46 balls with the help of six boundaries and&nbsp;two sixes and Kohli's 80 off 63 deliveries, during which he&nbsp;struck seven fours and two hits over the fence, to post 185&nbsp;for five.&nbsp;
Later, RCB bowlers rose to the occasion and managed to&nbsp;restrict Pune to 172 for eight.
