Several Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises took to social media on Thursday to welcome Rajasthan Royals, which is returning to the cash-rich cricket tournament after serving a two-year ban. Rajasthan kicked off the series of congratulatory messages on Twitter by welcoming CSK's return. "VANAKKAM. The energy in #Chennai and the @ChennaiIPL are simply a treat. Look forward to great games again in 2018!," the winners of the inaugural edition tweeted. "Khamma Ghani Rajasthan! To Royal Roars!," CSK tweeted in return.
