With the Supreme Court shutting the door on N Srinivasan’s hopes of contesting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) polls on March 2, the ruling faction has decided that Jagmohan Dalmiya will be their presidential candidate, Sunday mid-day has learnt. Since the last couple of days, the Srinivasan camp has been holding various meetings to finalise the ideal candidate to head the world’s richest cricket board.

The conclusion was, however, reached during a meeting on Saturday.
