Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) yesterday elected state sports minister Imran Ansari as its president in total disregard to the Supreme Court accepting Lodha Panel recommendations on reforms in the BCCI which bar ministers from becoming office bearers
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) yesterday elected state sports minister Imran Ansari as its president in total disregard to the Supreme Court accepting Lodha Panel recommendations on reforms in the BCCI which bar ministers from becoming office bearers.
Ansari, who ended National Conference president Farooq Abdullah's three-decade tenure at the helm of the state cricket association last year, was elected as the president of the JKCA at the elections held yesterday.
