Johannesburg: Out-of-favour South African all-rounder Justin Ontong got a fresh lease of life after being named in the 30-man preliminary squad for the 2015 ODI World Cup, announced today by CSA.

Ontong, who last played an ODI for Proteas in 2012, will be fighting for a place in the 15-member final squad that will be released in January before the 50-over showpiece event kick starts on February 14 in Australia and New Zealand.
