Kiran Pal Singh, a sub-inspector of police in Meerut had never heard about Lord's Honours Boards where his son, Bhuvneshwar Kumar's name, along with recent Test centurion Ajinkya Rahane's would be put at the hallowed venue's pavilion after the ongoing Test.

"I didn't know about it and never knew that five-wicket takers in an innings, or 10 wickets in the match at Lord's are honoured there," he told mid-day over phone.

These boards, are provided in the 'home' and 'away' dressing rooms. They provide a permanent reminder to players of the best batting and bowling performances in the long history of Lord's.
