Manish Rao slammed 80 while his teammate Sagar Mishra (75) provided good support as Sunil Gavaskar XI posted 211 on Day One of the U-25 Madhav Mantri cricket tournament conducted by Mumbai Cricket Association yesterday. In reply, Sandeep Patil XI was 81 for one at the end of day's play.

In another tie, Akhil Herwadkar scored 51 as Sachin Tendulkar XI posted 181 in their first innings. Pratik Gawli of Ajit Wadekar XI claimed 5-67.
