One user wrote, "New year tumhe hi mubarak ho me ek muslim ho mera new year moharram se shuro hota he [Let the New year only be for you. I am a Muslim and my new year starts with Moharram]." Meanwhile, one felt Shami is doing this for 'cheap publicity'.
