<p>Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni played which can be called one of his slowest innings ever in ODIs during India's fourth match against West Indies.</p>
<p>Chasing a total of 189, MS Dhoni reached his half-century in 108 deliveries. Dhoni ended up with a score of 54 of 114 balls. In the process, MS Dhoni surpassed Sourav Ganguly's record of a lowest fifty in 16 years.</p>
<p>Sourav Ganguly reached his fifty in 105 balls in 2005 vs Sri Lanka and then in 104 balls in 2007 against Bangladesh.</p>
<p>However,<a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/ms-dhoni-slow-batting-india-lose-to-west-indies-by-11-runs-4th-odi/18389196" target="_blank"> <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>MS Dhoni was only the second Indian cricketer to score a fifty in the match</strong></span></a>. Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane scored 60 runs which was also his fourth consecutive ODI half-century in a row.</p>
