Mumbai man Abey Kuruvilla, who built a platform for India to win the Barbados Test with a five-wicket burst against West Indies in 1997, said he had never seen Sachin Tendulkar so upset as he was after the 38-run defeat.

"It was horrible. With the batting line-up we had, we should have won easily although the wicket was not all that easy to bat on." recalled Kuruvilla, who made his Test debut during the series. "Sachin was really upset. He didn't talk for some time; even coach Madan Lal. We would have been the first Indian side to win at Barbados.
