High drama is expected in Supreme Court today when the Committee of Administrators' (CoA) status report in which former BCCI president N Srinivasan and erstwhile secretary Niranjan Shah have been slammed for stalling the implementation of the Lodha reforms, will be up for consideration.
Chennai-based Srinivasan, who like Saurashtra's Shah, got involved in stalling the Lodha Committee recommendations to make the Indian cricket board an organisation which is transparent and fair.

Srinivasan represented the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, attended the Board's Special General Meeting on May 7 and June 26 despite being deemed disqualified through the 70-year age cap for administrators.
Shah too is over-aged and to the surprise of several cricket lovers who want to see a better-run game, was included in a committee to study the Lodha reforms. The reluctance to budge could prove disastrous for the administrators and the Supreme Court which earlier this year sacked then president Anurag Thakur and secretary Ajay Shirke, could hand out very harsh punishments to Srinivasan and Shah.
