Former captain Sudhir Naik on Saturday became the second Mumbai chief selector to step down in less than eight months. While Sandeep Patil, the current national chairman of selectors quit as Mumbai chairman in April because he could not find enough time to attend to Mumbai’s selectorial needs, Naik decided to relinquish his post since he has been given the responsibility of turf consultant for the Wankhede Stadium and Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana (Kandivli).u00a0
