Central Zone were 12 for no loss at stumps with Tanmay Srivastava (7) and Vineet Saxena (5) at the crease.
East Zone, resuming on 64 for three, were bowled out in 101.5 overs. Shiv Gautam (34) gave good support to Jaggi, who ran out of partners eventually. The first day’s play was washed at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here.u00a0
