Pakistan will play a one-day cricket match against Afghanistan at Abbottabad, the city where Osama bin Laden was killed by US Navy Seals. The Pakistan Cricket Board has said the one-dayer will be played in Abbottabad on May 29. Afghanistan will play three one-day matches against a second-tier Pakistan team later this month, becoming the first international side to tour Pakistan in more than two years. International cricket has been suspended in Pakistan over security fears since militants attacked the Sri Lankan team bus in March 2009. The attacks, which killed eight people and wounded seven Sri Lankan players and their assistant coach, prompted the International Cricket Council (ICC) to strip Pakistan of its share of matches for the 2011 World Cup. The PCB finalised the three-match, one-day series last week after meeting with Afghanistan Cricket Board officials, but only revealed the itinerary on Monday. Faisalabad will host the lone day-night match on May 25, while Rawalpindi (May 27) and Abbottabad will organise the remaining two matches. The Afghan team, which is coached by former Pakistan Test player Rashid Latif, will arrive on May 24.
