Australia's most successful bowler in the Chennai Test, James Pattinson may be rested for the second Test at Hyderabad, according to the Sydney Morning Herald
The newspaper said the team think-tank was, “desperate not to risk the fast bowler breaking down again.”
The second Test begins on Saturday.
The 22-year-old Victorian fast bowler has recently recovered from a left lower rib injury which he suffered against South Africa last November.
Pattinson claimed five for 96 in the first innings and sent back Murali Vijay yesterday before India posted an eight-wicket victory to take 1-0 lead in the four-Test series.u00a0
