In the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals captain Faf du Plessis has won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The match will be important from Punjab's perspective as the side will look to secure the top-two spots in the IPL 2025 playoffs.
Skipper Axar Patel missed Delhi's previous clash against Mumbai Indians due to bad flu. In his absence, star batsman Faf du Plessis led the side. Axar will also not feature in today's match as it is assumed that he is out due to sickness.
So far in IPL history, both teams have clashed against each other on 34 occasions, out of which Punjab leads the chart with 17 victories. On the other hand, Delhi has come victorious on 16 occasions. One match between the teams ended in no result.
