England cricketer Kevin Pietersen hopes to make a hasty return to the West Indies for the World Twenty20 after heading back to Britain on Monday for the birth of his baby son, his spokesman said.

Pietersen left the tournament and raced back to London to be with his wife Jessica Taylor - a former singer with British band Liberty X - for the birth of the couple's first child.
