The impressive return of left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha in Test cricket with a haul of six wickets in the first innings of the first Test against the West Indies in Delhi did not surprise his father Maheswar here.

"After being out of national reckoning for about one year, Pragyan was waiting for an opportunity to prove his mettle," a beaming Maheswar told reporters after his son grabbed a career-best six-wicket haul in the first innings of the ongoing match in Delhi.
