Fifteen-year-old Sarabjeet Singh, who hails from Punjab, has come to Mumbai in his quest to wear the elusive lion crest (Mumbai cricket logo) on his chest.

Defending champions Rizvi Springfield, Bandra unearthed a new match-winner in Sarabjeet after he helped his side in their second outright win as they thrashed Shailendra Education Society, Dahisar by an innings and 286 runs in the Elite Group of Harris Shield under-16 cricket tournament.



Sarabjeet took six for 42 to become the competition's leading wicket-taker with 18 scalps in two matches.

He also demolished Shardashram Vidyamandir, Dadar with his eight for 25 in the Harris Shield opener.

"Mumbai has a long history and that is why I want to be a part of it," Sarabjeet stated.
