Mushfiqur Rahim has been named Bangladesh's new captain for the upcoming home series against the West Indies and Pakistan, an official said on Tuesday.

All-rounder Mohammad Mahmudullah was named Rahim's deputy, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) spokesman Rabeed Imam said.
