He achieved the feat within just 26 minutes of play on Day Four of the final. He set the record with a single as he flicked Tamil Nadu's Lakshmipathi Balaji to deep square-leg. The 23-year-old's innings came to an end when he misread a straight delivery from Vijay Shankar and was adjudged leg before after scoring 328. His 560-ball knock was laced with 46 boundaries and a six.
