Chennai: Former India swing bowler&nbsp;Lakshmipathy Balaji will be Tamil Nadu squad's&nbsp;player-cum-bowling coach as they take on Baroda in the opening&nbsp;game of the Ranji Trophy at the Chepauk from October 1-4.
India discard and left handed opening batsman Abhinav&nbsp;Mukund would be leading the state cricket team for the coming&nbsp;Ranji Trophy Season.

U Sushil and M Kaushik Gandhi would join the team for&nbsp;matches to be played at Indore against Madhya Pradesh from&nbsp;October 8th to 11th October and against Mumbai in Mumbai from&nbsp;October 15th to 18th October.
The team: Abhinav Mukund (Captain), Baba Indrajith&nbsp;(Vice-Captain), K Bharath Shankar, Baba Aparajith, Vijay&nbsp;Shankar, R Prasanna, K Dinesh Karthik (wk), Malolan&nbsp;Rangarajan, Rahil Shah, DT Chandrasekar, L Vignesh, M Mohammed, L Balaji&nbsp;and Jagannathan Koushik.
