Mumbai coach Chandrakant Pandit is optimistic of the 40-time Ranji Trophy winners' chances against a strong Punjab outfit in the second round Group B game commencing at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on October 8 after the team's poor show against Andhra.

"We were looking forward to having a good start. But it is one of those things that happens. But it is also that you can get into a better position when you have this kind of an experience in the first game," the former India stumper told reporters after the team's practice session today.
