New Delhi: The Indian side is currently without a head coach following the end of Duncan Fletcher's tenure after the India's World Cup semi-final loss to Australia.
If reports are to be believed, Sashtri will also become the highest paid cricket coach in the world with Rs 7 crore a year as salary. He will be the second Indian after Kapil Dev in 2000 to coach the Indian team.
