Reina casts doubt on Liverpool future

On-loan Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina has admitted he finds it hard to envisage returning to parent club Liverpool, in an interview with a British newspaper published on Saturday.

The 31-year-old joined Napoli on loan at the close season, after Liverpool signed Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. Reina said he didn’t expect to return to Anfield after his loan.
“At the moment it’s difficult to think about being a Liverpool player next year. They have a young goalkeeper and the manager (Brendan Rodgers) prefers him to me.”
