Former India opener Virender Sehwag, known for his big hitting, has revealed that Bollywood's legendary singer Kishore Kumar helped him stay focussed out in the middle.
The 'Nawab of Najafgarh', who never made a song and dance of his batting, would croon out in the middle to stay focussed.
On the 87th birth anniverasy of the late singer, Sehwag shared this tibit of information on Twitter.
He posted, "Singing"Chala Jata Hoon"remains one of the gr8 memories for me on Cricket field (sic)."

People had eaelier got proof of it during the second T20 of the Cricket All-Stars event in the US, where Sehwag was playing for Sachin Tendulkar&rsquo;s Blasters team. At Houston, Sehwag surprised one and all when he started singing &lsquo;Chala Jaata Hoon&rsquo;, an iconic Kishore song, on the microphone, while batting.
Viru, who had retired from the game in October 2015, had in an interview, said, "To keep negative thoughts away, I used to sing a lot of songs while batting. Singing used to keep me from getting distracted. I used to sing the golden songs of Kishore Kumar."
"My partners (at the crease) did not even know I was singing because when we used to meet in the middle, we would talk about the game."

Middle-order batsman Suresh Raina had revealed that Sehwag was singing Kishore Kumar numbers during his 149-ball 219 in the fourth ODI against the West Indies in Indore in December 8, 2011.
Sehwag in the process had surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's 200 not out (which he scored against South Africa in Gwalior last year) for the highest ODI individual score.
"He was playing very well with no tension. That day, he was singing some Kishore Kumar songs. He was not feeling any kind of tension," Raina, who scored 55 in a 140-run partnership with Sehwag for the second wicket, had said during a youth summit programme.
Sehwag is not the only Kishore fan among Indian cricketers. Former cricketers like Sanjay Manjrekar and Sunil Gavaskar had earlier also revealed that they would listen to Kishore songs to relax and concentrate.
