The city's journalistic fraternity paid rich tributes to departed sports writer Chandrashekhar Sant at the packed Garden section of the Mumbai Press Club on Tuesday.


Chandrashekhar Sant 

Sant (61) passed away last Thursday following a massive heart attack at his residence in Mulund. Veteran writer and radio commentator Raju Bharatan referred to him as a gift of goodness and said he believed the former Maharashtra Times journalist worked as hard as fellow journalist John Crasto, who passed away two decades ago.
