England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has said that he is a fan of telly bad boys and love cheats.

According to The Daily Star, Rooney admitted on Twitter that Coronation Street character David Platt, played by Jack P. Shepherd, was his favourite character in the ITV soap and his EastEnders idol is bed-hopper Max Branning (played by Jake Wood).
