IDBI Federal Life Insurance has awarded the Mumbai under-23 cricket team R20 lakh for winning the CK Nayudu Trophy on Thursday.
The firm&rsquo;s ongoing bowling scheme along with the Mumbai Cricket Association has former Australia fast bowler Jeff Thomson in charge.
Vighnesh Shahane, CEO, IDBI Federal Life Insurance and a former Mumbai fast bowler said: &ldquo;We have always been keen to support the cricket stars of the future, and provide them with the right platforms and encouragement to ensure that the sport and the players are nurtured.
