Former England skipper Ian Botham and Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan teamed up on Tuesday to honour the legacy of ex-India captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (Saif’s father) at the annual Tiger Pataudi Memorial Lecture, in Kolkata. 

Saif said his dad’s greatest contribution to Indian cricket was his “ability to inspire self-belief in  players, who had never before been told they could dominate world cricket.”
