Deccan Chargers skipper Kumar Sangakkara has been penalised USD 20,000 for his team being one over behind the required over-rate during their IPL match against Pune Warriors.

At the end of the match, Deccan Chargers were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.
