Schalke general manager Horst Heldt claimed &ldquo;it would be irresponsible not to do this (launch an appeal).&rdquo; Drogba did not have much of an effect on the scoreline as Burak Yilmaz&rsquo;s opening goal was cancelled out by Jermaine Jones&rsquo; equaliser, and the two teams fought the remainder of the match on level terms. The two teams will be back in Champions League action on March 12, when they meet for the last 16 decider in Germany. The Turkish side know they will have to score at least once to avoid elimination.
