Shardashram Vidyamandir English Medium School (Dadar) registered a comfortable nine-wicket win over KEM High School (Kanjurmarg) in the girls U-16 quarter-final of the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) Manoramaben Apte inter-school cricket tournament at the Police Gymkhana (Marine Lines) on Friday.

After electing to bat, KEM were restricted to 43-5 in their quota of 10 overs against a disciplined Shardashram bowling attack led by Kartika Poojary (3-19), who was well supported by Madura Dyadke (1-9). Only Avani Vengurlekar managed to get into double digits (13 off 29 balls) for the Dadar outfit.
