New Delhi: In line with president Shashank&nbsp;Manohar's declaration of the reforms that will be carried out,&nbsp;the BCCI today uploaded its 'Constitution' on the official&nbsp;website and also removed the Chennai-based tax auditor firm.
The Constitution book, formally known as Memorandum And&nbsp;Rules and Regulations, last revised in September 2012 is there&nbsp;for all to view on bcci.tv. There are 52 pages with various&nbsp;heads and sub-heads.
As it has been reported, the BCCI has also shifted the&nbsp;treasurer's office from Chennai to Mumbai.
"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has&nbsp;decided to shift its Treasury office from Chennai to Mumbai.&nbsp;Keeping in mind that all tax matters of the BCCI are with the&nbsp;Income Tax Office in Mumbai, the Board has decided to hire a&nbsp;Tax Advisor and Internal Auditor that operates out of Mumbai,"&nbsp;BCCI said in a statement.
"Accordingly, the BCCI has hired M/S Gokhale &amp; Sathe, a&nbsp;reputed firm based in Mumbai and having extensive experience&nbsp;in Trust matters, as its advisor on Direct Tax matters and as&nbsp;an Internal Auditor for the accounting year 2015-16 with&nbsp;immediate effect, in replacement of PB Vijayraghavan &amp; Co.&nbsp;from Chennai," it further stated.
