Dharamsala: Australia captain Steven Smith yesterday said he was thrilled to meet His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, whose official residence is here in the McLeod Ganj area of Upper Dharamsala. The Australian team had an appointment with the spiritual leader last morning and skipper Smith said he hoped the holy man could solve one of his personal problems. “I asked him a question about sleep and how he could help me, and he gave me his blessings. We rubbed our noses together and he blessed me, so hopefully, it’ll help me with my sleep over the next five days here,” said Smith.
