Gujarat defeated Saurashtra by 8 wickets in the West Zone Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 League at the SCA Stadium here on Saturday. As a result Mumbai qualify for the knockout stage on the basis of better net run rate (0.803) than Saurashtra (-0.222).

Put into bat, Saurashtra were bundled out for a meager 133 with Gujarat bowler JK Parmar picking up a 4-wicket haul. For Saurashtra, Vishvarajsingh Jadeja top scored with 48 in 32 balls lacing three boundaries and a six. Chasing 134, Gujarat opener Priyank Panchal smashed 76 in 54 balls.
