In the T20 World Cup 2026 match against the West Indies, South Africa secured a dominating victory by nine wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Opening the innings, skipper Aiden Markram played an unbeaten knock of 82 runs off just 46 deliveries, which was laced with seven boundaries and four maximums. Wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock departed after scoring 47 runs in 24 balls, with the help of four boundaries and the same number of maximums.
