Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar, who turned 60 earlier this month, ended his innings with the house of Tatas which he served and represented for 40 years.

Vengsarkar recalled yesterday how he joined Tatas while he was playing the inter-collegiate final for Podar College against Siddarth College&nbsp;in 1976.
The Mumbai stalwart was never known to change jobs and clubs. Firstly, once he joined Dadar Union SC, he did not play the Kanga League for any other club till his retirement in the early 1990s. It was the same when it came to inter-office cricket for Tata Sports Club.
At Bombay House yesterday, Vengsarkar was given a fitting farewell and touched upon the loyalty factor: "I always believed in loyalty and Tatas always stood for loyalty," he said.
