India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who is known for breaking records on the ground with his aggressive batting, has also set a new benchmark off it. He has become the highest taxpayer in the state of Uttarakhand for the 2025-26 financial year — having paid a whopping Rs 23.84 crore.

Pant, 28, who is a Delhi player, but lives in Uttarakhand, was the state’s highest taxpayer last year too, at Rs 10.5 crore.
