<p>On this day in 2002, Sourav Ganguly-led Team India went on to win an epic Natwest Series after they created history by defeating England in the final.</p>
<p>Sourav Ganguly went on to take off his shirt in dramatic form following their win as a fitting reply to Andrew Flintoff's previous gesture.</p>
<p>Today, 14 years on cricketers and others from the fraternity took to twitter to relive the historic event and shared their views as well..</p>
<p>The most interesting of them all, if it can be said, was from Virender Sehwag who wrote in his trademark humourous style.</p>

<p>Chasing 326 in the final, India were a terrible spot at 146-5 with stalwarts like Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag back in the pavilion.&nbsp;</p>
<p>A young Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif, then took matters as well as responsibility in their own hands to take India to victory with over a 100 run partnership. Mohammad Kaif went on to score an unbeaten 87 and went on to win the man-of-the-match.&nbsp;</p>
<p>India also drew a 4-match Test series against England 1-1.</p>
<p>Rahul Dravid and Matthew Vaughan went on to win the Player of the series award.</p>
